THE BERKSHIRES
The Berkshires offer some of the best year-round
activities in New England. Located just two hours west of Boston it
is ideal for the weekend getaway, but offers enough to fill a full week
vacation. There is something for everyone. For the nature lover there
is hiking, boating, water skiing, snow skiing, swimming, bicycling,
golf, horseback riding and so much more. The Berkshires are rich in
the arts as well. The Berkshires many venues attract many New York talents
and offer professional theater performances. There are several cabarets,
opera performances, concerts and symphony events each month. There are
art museums and the Norman Rockwell Museum for the visual art lover.
However, the thing that attracts people the most is the peace and serenity
offered by this mountain community. Relaxation is the specialty offered
by the many resorts and bed and breakfasts. If you are looking for a
